In reply to <a href="https://www.logicalplanet.com/2024/05/07/stashcan2/#comment-2057">Steve Garrett</a>.

Hi Steve, thanks again (I just messaged you via youtube) for the kind remarks. I would be very interested to learn more about what a Gougler padlock is and what makes it unique. Can you send me some info or links to check out? From that I can probably decide if it is doable for me or not. I am already started on a larger version of the lock I made for the StashCan to make a safe. I am thinking a small 3d printable "toy" safe that could be screwed into a drawer or cabinet. I think it would be a fun project for kids and also a useable safe (although not fireproof or capable of withstanding bruteforce). I am also trying to work out a simple pushbutton style lock mechanism for a high speed safe or lock. So much to do and so little time. Thank you for the encouragement.

What a great design! Thank you for sharing this product of many hours of thought and work. Mine worked 100% after i got all the parts printed on my Prusa MK3. I had to make several tries to get the lock disks right for the code I wanted. I also had to work with putting the lid together in the correct order. I never could quite see to order of things in the videos for V1 or V2 but I got it right after a while.
Again, thank you for a very nice project. Locks are my hobby and I can enjoy your efforts with this design.
If you ever need another lock project, just let me know. I would like to see a model f one of the Gougler padlock. I have several and could send you a couple to study if you like.
