Yes, this was a fun design simply for my friends drinking beer or white wine on our patio on a summer day with their drinks the sun. It was really just a fun play on the standard coaster by adding a sunshade. I wanted it to be a fast and simple print thus the minimal moving parts and no assembly. The swing out back legs are design to stabilize against wind but we found that even that is not needed when a drink is in the coaster. And, having a closed wall reduces airflow around the drink (marginally for sure). Since their drinks are already in the sun, the lightstruck effect already accepted, the BevvySteady can help if a UV filament is used (such as ASA). Since posting this design I have created my DrinkColder which for my buddies who drink beer is by far the preferred product. But for sure all of these are just novelties and not needed in a meaningful way.

Maybe have a series of hinged Air Vents in the BevvyShade to allow the wind to pass through from either direction. When upright, with the hinge being on the horizontal & hinged at the top, the vents won't allow any/enough sun to get through to the vessel/contents but will easily swing open to allow any gusts/wind to pass through.

I can't confirm the following as I never leave a drink in the sun for long enough but...the other thing that direct Sunlight does to alcohol is an effect referred to as 'Light Struck' or being 'Skunked' due to the Ultra Violet Rays from the sun that can affect the flavour. Hence why most Wines, Beers etc are stored in non Clear glass to preserve the intended flavour.
