CableNest is a ventilated cable management box that contains power adapters and cables while keeping them organized, cool, and easy to move. It’s designed to sit neatly behind a computer or notebook screen, but it works just as well anywhere you need to tame cable clutter.

What It Is

CableNest is a 100% 3D-printed, snap-together containment box for power bricks, chargers, and excess cable length. Open hex-pattern walls allow heat to escape while keeping everything visually contained and out of the way.

All CableNest models share the same height and depth, with multiple widths available to suit different setups—from compact laptop workspaces to multi-monitor desks.

How It Works

Power adapters load through the hinged split top, cables are routed out either end, and the ventilated walls allow heat to escape during use.
Once closed, CableNest keeps cables organized, concealed, and accessible when needed.

Because everything is contained in a single unit, the entire setup can be picked up and moved—ideal for shared tables, hot-desking, or temporary workspaces.

In Use

Placed behind a monitor or notebook, CableNest largely disappears from view while still keeping power accessible. Opening the top provides immediate access to adapters and cables without unplugging anything.

Instructions

1. Lay in the cables

Print & Slicer Settings

Functional designs (such as this one) generally require more strength than non-functional designs and more strength than the typical default slicer settings provide, so please review your slicer settings carefully.

This product was designed for a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.2mm layer height. For best results, I suggest the following:

• Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Walls: 4 (1.6 mm)
• Top/Bottom: 5 (1.0 mm)
• Infill: 40% Cubic (100% for maximum strength)
