My wife challenged me to come up with some hair-sticks for her. This is what I thought was appropriate… just saying…

I mean she is not a complete “dragon lady” but she still has time. Hopefully, she will not read this blog. Haha.

Not much to say, super simple print.
Apparently, the tips need to be quite smooth and sharp to pass through the hair easily. But I didn’t want them so sharp they could be used to stab someone’s eyeballs out (you know what I mean). In all seriousness, you may need to sand the tips to get them as smooth as possible. I lightly sanded them and then torched them gently to get them completely smooth.
Printing
Material: I choose to use PETG for its durability and flexibility but a stiffer material might be better.
My Setup:
Nozzle = 0.4mm
My Settings:
Layer height = 0.2mm
Line width = 0.45mm
Wall count = 4 (1.6mm)
Infill = 40%, I tried 100% to increase the stiffness but that made them feel too top-heavy to my wife. So I recommend 40% or less.
Support:
Designed to print without support.
Print Orientation: Laying flat.
