WallPlateMate™ - logicalplanet

The WallPlateMate™ system is a line of functional wall attachments (“Accessories”) that you can snap on and off the wall using the mounting plate (the FlexPlate™) that can be attached to the wall directly or mounted onto your existing electrical switches and outlets (the “WallMatePlate™”). Using the WallPlateMates means adding storage and functionality to the wall without making holes in the wall. And, it also means you can remove the WallPlateMate™ anytime and use it elsewhere.

The WallMatePlate™ installs easily in place of existing wall plates or as a stand-alone screw-on wall plate (the “FlexPlate”).
Various accessories can be attached to the WallPlateMate™ without tools, fasteners or adhesives.
The WallPlateMate™ does not require any additional holes in the wall and can be removed anytime.
The WallPlateMate™ is available for 1, 2, and 3 gang switch and outlet covers.
The FlexPlate is available as a standalone mount where using WallPlateMates is not suitable or not desired. Screw-on and stick-on versions of the FlexPlate are available.

Overview

The system is made up of two components, a) the wall-mounted FlexPlate™ (or WallMatePlate™ which incorporates the FlexPlate™) and b) the accessory you attach to the FlexPlate (or WallMatePlate™). There are multiple versions of WallMatePlates™ and an increasing number of WallMatePlate™ Accessories to choose from (see below).

The first half of the WallMatePlate™ System is the wall-side component. That will be either the FlexPlate™ (stick-on or screw-on) or one of the WallPlateMate™ adapters which have the FlexPlate™ incorporated into it. Once you have one of those attached to the wall, you can choose and attach any of the WallPlateMate™ Accessories.

Wall Plate Selection

As of 2024-05-01 we only have WallPlateMate plates for North American style switch and outlets however we are now developing WallPlateMates for other regions and will be posting those as soon as possible.

Many of the accessories come in varying sizes (widths). The narrower version will suit a single gang switch plate better than the wider versions. The wider version will suit a multiple gang switch plate. But any accessory size can snap onto any FlexPlate™ or WallMatePlate™.

Our selection of accessories is growing and we will add new ones to the list below as they are released.

When choosing a WallMatePlate™ Accessory, remember that all accessories are compatible with all WallMatePlates™ and can be installed above and below the switch or outlet (or both). However, hanging keys or a hat (for example) above the switch or outlet may not be ideal as the hanging items might interfere with the use of the switch or outlet.

WallMatPlate™ is not intended to support more than 2kg (4.4lbs) unless otherwise stated. The capacity of the stick-on FlexPlate will be dependant on the adhesive strips used.
