How to Use These Guides
These guides are meant to be practical and flexible, not something you have to follow perfectly from start to finish. Start with the section that matches where you are in your growing process, and come back as your plants develop.
Use the recommendations as a baseline, adjust based on what you’re growing and your local conditions, and don’t be afraid to experiment. If something works better for you, that’s a win. The goal is to help you understand why things are done, not just what to do.
Introduction
Growing plants is a deep and fascinating subject, and I wouldn’t pretend that a single guide — or a single person — can teach everything there is to know about it. What I can do, however, is share what I’ve learned while designing and using the Logical Grow Platform, and help stack the odds in your favor.

As I developed the LGP, I found myself learning not just about design and mechanics, but about germination, watering, light, temperature, and how small changes at each stage can have a big impact on success. This page (and the pages it links to) are my attempt to capture those lessons in a practical, approachable way.
The guidance here is organized into clear sections and follows the natural progression of a plant’s growth — from seed, to seedling, to transplant and beyond. It’s meant to be something you can return to as your plants develop, rather than a single set of instructions to read once and forget.
Every plant is different, and many details will vary depending on what you’re growing and where you live. Use this as a foundation, not a rulebook, and don’t hesitate to do additional research for specific crops when needed. Think of this as a growing reference — one that will continue to evolve as the LGP ecosystem grows.
