This is one of those projects that I spent a ridiculous amount of time on and in the end really never finished it. The idea is fantastic though… snap on and off fan ducts for the hotted on a JG Aurora A3S or A5S. Not only does it make replacement quick and easy, but the real excitement is also being able to swap different kinds of fan ducts for experimenting.

I am posting it here now basically as a “food for thought” kind of project. Up until now at least I have not seen any other quick-release fan ducts. And, that may be because there isn’t a great need. But nonetheless, the idea is interesting to me.

In the very end, my conclusion was that in fact the airflow and direction are less important than the amount of airflow. And, as a result, I used these designs but did not do much swapping of the fan duct once I got my printer “dialled in”.
